Before & After

Frelo: Before & After

Challenge  This home had a significant amount of maintenance due, in addition to outdated decor.  Originally, the plans were limited to updating the kitchen, bathroom, roofing, and heating system.  Once the design process began, the idea of opening the main living spaces to the view inspired the homeowners expand the project to transform the house into their dream live/work environment.

Solution  The project became a “near” tear-down (one wall and the slab-on-grade remained). An entirely new, energy-efficient home now stands in its place, complete with an acoustically-isolated work area.

Lake Washington - Before & After

CHALLENGE  Shield the living area from intense sun without obscuring the view.  Create more room for party guests when entertaining.

SOLUTION  Drawing upon the Colonial Revival style of this home, the extra-deep porch makes being outdoors enjoyable year-round while providing shade for the interior.
